Job Overview:
Our company is looking for an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team. As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing mechanical systems and products. You will work closely with other engineers and project managers to ensure that all designs meet technical specifications, safety standards, and client requirements.
Responsibilities:
Design and develop mechanical systems, products, and components using CAD software.
Evaluate design feasibility, cost, and reliability using engineering analysis tools.
Collaborate with project managers, other engineers, and clients to understand project requirements and constraints.
Develop and maintain technical documentation including design specifications, test plans, and reports.
Conduct testing and validation of designs to ensure they meet performance and safety requirements.
Troubleshoot design and manufacturing issues, and implement corrective actions as necessary.
Provide technical support and guidance to production teams during the manufacturing process.
Participate in design reviews and provide feedback to improve product quality and performance.
Create 3D models and prints using 3D printing software and hardware.
Utilize 3D design and printing technologies to create prototypes and assist with product development.

Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in mechanical design, product development, or related field.
Proficient in CAD software, such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar.
Knowledge of engineering principles, materials, and manufacturing processes.
Familiarity with design tools and analysis software, such as FEA and CFD.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Experience with project management is a plus.
Experience with 3D design and printing software and hardware, such as Fusion 360, Ultimaker, or similar, is preferred.
